Very good information. The presentation was organized and examples were interesting. The powerpoint wasn't very uniform however. A single scheme might have helped.
It was clever to have "purpose?" as the first slide because of the joke that's behind it, and it really got the attention of the audience. The things that should be incorporated into school were interesting, and I definitely agree that it would improve our education. The pictures were very good, and also kept the audience's attention. The loop back to the story about Garrett in a previous presentation was funny and entertaining. The meaning of life bit was also interesting, and true that it is whatever you want it to be. I think that some of the slides had too many words and drew the attention away from the presentation itself though. Overall great job!
You seemed to rely on your papers. I am sure that you knew what you were saying, but it gave the implication that you didn't know what you were saying. The slides had a lot of information on them, but you didn't really talk about any of it. You also were looking at the screen for a great deal of the presentation. The presenter wasn't always doing this, but the other people were looking at the screen. The presentation wasn't very creative, but you talked about play. It was a little ironic. The slides could be a little more organized and easier to read. Zac and Logan: Good job speaking up and using your hands.
Zac seems really confident. He's a good presenter. You all seem to know very well what you are doing and what to say. What's the note card for? You don't need it! :)
This is full of information, and you manage to get through all your points since you clearly have a lot. Really enjoying this. I like how you include improvised examples too. Amanda doesn't speak too loud and didn't have a big part, but good job!
I liked your presentation overall, I thought it was silly. Maybe you could try using different types of examples so you aren't just talking the whole time.
Love the picture they started out with
ReplyDeleteGreat example with the phone
ReplyDeleteI think this group had a great example using the Droid to convey the idea of symphony.
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures! The pictures were very captivating and great examples. I also liked how they incorporated play into work.

ReplyDeleteGood eye contact and very good visual examples.
ReplyDeleteThey did a good job using the pictures and explaining them very well. Also, they all seemed like they practiced well.
ReplyDeleteSpoke very clearly and used great connections! And your visuals were wonderful!

ReplyDeleteMaybe should have added some creativity to the presentation, since one of the topics was play, maybe should have been involved in the presentation.
ReplyDeleteLogan, good speaking, loud and easy to understand.
Zac: Good job not having to read straight off of the paper, you had it memorized well, and you spoke up good.
Jessica: Good job showing your own purpose

I really like the picture at the beginning! Good Job making the audience laugh. really good job relating to self.
ReplyDeleteGood job! You had some really great pictures to prove your points.

Amanda and Jessica would have been more effective had they not been reading off of their papers the entire time.
ReplyDeleteThey needed less on Jessica's slides.
I liked how Logan showed current examples of what Symphony is currently like in the business world.
Zach was very entertaining, he presented well.
I feel like the power-point was too much of a focal point. It seemed like the information on there was what was being said instead of explained
