  1. I really like the hero's journey metaphor

  2. I like how they engaged the audience by passing out candy. However; I think it would have been better if they didn't have to tell someone when to change the slide.

  3. That spinning picture was a really good example

  4. I like the use of questions to attempt to get the audience involved; however, the questions could have been a little deeper. The elements of the presentation were good for keeping the audience engaged.

  5. They spoke very clearly and I was really engaged, and I can't put my finger on why! It was a lovely presentation, and was very cleverly put together.

  8. They did a great job. They came up with good ideas, such as the spinning picture, to get the audience to think.

  10. The spinning visual was cool! I like how it would switch! This was a great example. Good job talking to us, and not reading off the slides!

  11. I loved your powerpoint, it was beautiful. Also, I thought you guys were very put together with your outfits and timing.
The only thing I would change is to try and be a little more prepared to change slides on time.

  14. The intro was entertaining and a great way to captivate the audience. I thought the idea of working smphony into the individual first was a great point. The spinning girl was a great idea of how to show people that they can use both sides of the brain. The point of teaching to the test was a great point. The games were a great way of involving the audience. Well done

  15. I liked how they related their theme to themselves and us, but I didn't like how much they stumbled and said "um", and read off their cards. I think Melanie was very well prepared for her part in the presentation, and the spinning dancer was very cool. I have seen it before, so it was easy to make it switch directions. I think the points they made were very good, and I think they should have talked about how some schools don't grade, and these schools are actually very good. I thought it was interesting how they referred to themselves as heroes, and it really made me think about how the world is today and what can be changed using the things in the presentation and what Ms. Smith has taught us.

  16. Throughout the presentation it was very well done by having interaction with the audience. I thought it was very creative to have their presentation follow a story line. The examples used were very interesting, but at the end was very distracting and it was hard for the audience to stay focused.

  17. I would know where to switch the slides more. It seems that you were unsure of when to switch slides.

Melanie: Good job engaging the audience!
Margot: Good job, but the large paper was a little distracting. I did like your example of standardized testing.
Jonathan: Like Margot, the paper you were holding was slightly distracting. Could you have used a note card instead? I liked the document, but it was hard to read when you were scrolling.
Overall: You seemed very unsure of time. Great ideas!

  18. Everyone looked fantastic and put together. Some members of the group seemed to get aggravated very easily and it reflected in their face which distracted from the speaker. This member also talked along with other members' speeches which was distracting. Overall very great and creative presentation!! Margot seemed very confident and put together. She looked professional and acted very professional and like she knew their parts, but gave other people their space to present. She also encouraged us to stand up and allowed the presentation to really hit home. She put humor into her presentation but not enough to take away from the presentation. The UN resolution was incredibly interesting. Pushed time but was overall really good.

  19. I liked how they used the students around them to grab people's attention.

All of the group members' outfits where very spiffy.

I think that the performance could have flown smoother if they had not looked at the screen, and had somebody else changing the screen for Jonathan.

I wish that they could have finished their performance.
